Welcome to my site
People are screaming about Climate Change. How we need to conserve energy. The Electrical Companies still have a monopoly on energy and are gouging prices. More and more power has to go through an antiquated Grid system, that won't be able to handle the amount of energy we will be consuming in a few short years. They use inefficient coal, that spews contaminates into the air that we breathe. They use strip mining to get this coal, and leave the mine and surrounding area in horrible conditions afterwards. They burn oil, which isn't any better, and prices fluctuate at the whim of OPEC nations. It is also a limited resource. It may last for another 100 years but when it's gone, it's gone.
I don't scream Climate change, I am not a tree hugger, but I do care about the environment. But I am not an extremist. I believe that there is a better way of doing things, simple economics.
We use inefficient fuels for energy for our electricity and our cars, trucks, planes etc. We have used the most inefficient building methods for hundreds of years. Wooden stick houses waste tremendous amounts of energy, steel and glass buildings fall into the same category. Although techniques are getting better there are better, cheaper, more efficient ways to build things and keep them a comfortable climate inside. Sure, it still takes energy to create energy, but in the long run alternative methods are cheaper and better for the environment.
In the various pages you will find different methods to create energy and build buildings.
